Reentry Coordinator/Case Manager

Good morning. My name is John Chetti and I work for the Orange County Sheriff's Department in Orange, California. I am constantly looking for educational material on CB Techniques, and information to construct prevention plans. Also, any information on working with incarcerated individuals.

About

My role is to perform a risk/needs assessment on incarcerated individuals and help them transition back into the community. I use Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Stages of Change Techniques when I assess people.

We are in dire need of drug treatment programs, especially programs that offer Dual Diagnosis Treatment.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, Case Management and Planning to help individuals think beyond "getting out of jail," and start thinking about changing the narrative to "staying out of jail." We provide placement services to drug treatment programs, placement into job training programs and housing. We also work with probation on the clients behalf as well as their attorneys.
