Prior to her position as Director of Communications for HCI Books (Health Communications, Inc.), she ran her own public relations firm in Boca Raton, FL, called WW Communications, Inc. where she created pr campaigns for individuals, corporations and municipalities. She has been with HCI during the making of such phenomenal bestsellers such as the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, A Child Called “It’, What the Bleep Do We Know, Hypnobirthing, The Power of Focus, Life Could Be Verse and now the Inkspirations series of coloring books for adults. In addition to her post as HCI, Kim has a consulting/coaching service for authors, Kim Weiss Publishing Services (http://www.helpmewithmybook.com) where she works with both aspiring and accomplished authors. Kim offers “an insider’s look at publishing your book.”
When she’s not working with authors, Kim is either writing songs (lately for authors), studying opera with her vocal coach, playing her guitar, lying on the beach somewhere, or being entertained by her cats and bird. She’s often seen on her 14th floor terrace snapping photos of the amazing oceanside vistas. See more about her new book at: www.sunrisesunsetbook.com
