A community of structured sober living homes for men, New Life House opened its doors more than 28 years ago. The winning combination of structure and long-term support are the staples of New Life House's recovery model. NLH provides a respite from addiction giving young men a chance to mature and address underlying issues that contributed to their struggle in living successful lives. A long-term break in using, coupled with peer living the house code of "life on life's terms" identifies those who will chose the road of sobriety and those whose using is only experimental.
Since 1985 New Life House is the pioneer in age-specific sober living for young men. Peer accountability, promotion of healthy lifestyle changes and a solid network of sober friends are essential components that set us apart. New Life House fosters community anchored in permanent values and long-term sobriety.
Our sober livings are based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. House members develop self-understanding, maturity, self-control and the ability to assume personal responsibility for themselves. The chances for lifelong sobriety exist as house members develop the tools to cope with life's ups and downs.
