Letter from the Editor March 2022

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

In the spirit of Celebrating Spring, RecoveryView is excited to announce our special 59th Edition and LIVE show!

As we Spring back to life, it’s a time of hope as things start to open up again, like a flower in bloom. This is a wonderful season of coming into our own, experiencing the current of life, and not trying to paddle upstream. As everything in nature is constantly in flux, allow the universe to take you on the adventure that it wants you to have.

The RECOVERY VIEW LIVE  monthly show, is Sunday, March 13th, at 7:00pm PDT, where I’ll be interviewing a panel of our esteemed guest authors:

  • Bob Tyler (our Spotlight Author), has been working in Inpatient, Residential and Intensive Outpatient levels of care since 1990 and is the owner of Bob Tyler Recovery. Bob is the author of “Enough Already! A Guide to Recovery from Alcohol and Drug Addiction. Bob’s article addresses: “Observations of an Addiction Group Evaluator: Who group is it, anyway?”
  • Joanne Barron & Dr. Lynne Friedman-Gell, hold doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology and both specialize in the treatment of trauma and addiction. They are also co-owners and co-founders of Trauma & Beyond Psychological Center. Their joint article is about: “Working With Complex Trauma.”

You can watch the LIVE program here

This special Edition featured authors also include: David M. Grey, lawyer and owner of David M. Grey & Associates, whose article addresses a program study: “ABC Recovery Center Inc., Outpatient Treatment Rate Completion Reaches 70% with a median length of stay of 86 days.”  Please check out all our authors’ articles and leave us a comment.

This month’s featured Book Author is Bob Tyler, whose EVVY Award-winning book is: Enough Already! A Guide to Recovery from Alcohol & Drug Addiction. The book is an easy read that educates alcoholics and addicts on precisely what to do to get and stay sober.

Enjoy this edition!  Look at our event calendar  to join us live!

Remember you are safe, worthy, free and deserving of all your greatness!

Wishing you a joyous and healthy Spring!

Blessings,
Josie Herndon
